The Commission for Motion Laboratory Accreditation (CMLA) is a nonprofit, independent accrediting body dedicated to advancing high-quality clinical care for individuals with movement disorders. CMLA evaluates and accredits clinical motion and gait analysis laboratories through a rigorous peer‑review process based on established standards and best practices. Founded in 1997, CMLA promotes excellence, consistency, and public confidence in clinical movement analysis across the United States and internationally.

It takes time to create excellence. If it could be done quickly, more people would do it.
